Job Summary:

The IT Operations student documents IT systems and processes, manages security groups, assists in the tracking of IT assets, supports user onboarding and offboarding process, monitors system performance, and improves IT workflows. The student also collaborates with security teams to ensure best practices in access controls.

*Able to commute to the office and work on-site as required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Document IT systems and processes to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage security groups, ensuring that users have the right access. 
  • Assist in the tracking of IT assets by maintaining an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software. 
  • Monitor system performance and flag potential issues before they affect operations. 
  • Improve IT workflows by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting optimizations. 

COMPETENCY PROFILE AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience/Certification:
 

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Basic understanding of computer systems and security principles. 
  • Experience in IT support or related internships is an asset.

Depending on their level and area of expertise, the incumbent must possess the following skills:
