Licences

Terrestar Solutions is licensed by Industry Canada to provide Mobile Satellite Service (MSS) and fixed and mobile Ancillary Terrestrial Component (ATC) wireless cellular services across Canada.

The company holds licences for 40 MHz of spectrum (2000 – 2020 MHz and 2180 – 2200 MHz) to provide MSS and cellular services across the country. The licences were issued in 2015 and are renewable in 2035 through a renewal process.

Licences held by Terrestar Solutions

Terrestar Solutions is licensed to provide national MSS service and national cellular service using the frequencies 2000 – 2020 MHz and 2180 – 2200 MHz.

Terrestar Solutions’ AWS-4 licences are within the same AWS-4 frequency bands that are currently being used to provide prime LTE / LTE Advanced services.

Terrestar Solutions is licensed to offer Mobile Satellite Services across the Canadian footprint of the Echostar T1 satellite.
